Open Enrollment Begins January 1 for the 2026–27 School Year

We’re excited to announce that open enrollment for the 2026–27 school year will begin on January 1. Families are encouraged to apply during the open enrollment period.

πŸ“’ 2026-2027 Enrollment & Lottery Process
βœ” Open Enrollment: January 1 – February 6, 2026 (11:59 PM)
βœ” Lottery Date: The admissions lottery will be conducted on February 16, 2026.
βœ” Attendance is not required.
βœ” Families will be notified via the contact details provided in their student's application. In addition, the parent portal will be updated with the student's status.
βœ” Applications submitted after February 6, 2026, will not be included in the lottery but will be processed in the order they are received after the lottery has been conducted.

βœ” If your child is on the 2025-2026 waitlist, please note that this status does not carry forward.
βœ” Waitlists are only valid for the school year they apply.
βœ” To be considered for enrollment in 2026-2027, you must submit a new application.













Our Mission and Defining Characteristics: The mission of Fulton Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) is to provide an education based on design thinking and problem-solving with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to K-8 children in the diverse Fulton County community. FAST’s goal is to prepare children in a way that provides them a foundation to be creative innovators and problem solvers so they are prepared for success and leadership in our rapidly changing world. With the diverse demographics of our existing community serving as the background theme for academics, children will develop the foundations for learning and thinking that prepares them for success in post-secondary education and careers.
